Monica and her aunt in Gotland Sweden
I cannot share many photos from this Sundays wedding in Gotland, Sweden. Some clients prefer a more discrete service than others. However I took these images whilst the days events were in preparation to show something of the location I was to be working in. The celebration had a mixture of Swedish, Australian and Scottish guests. I had never been to Sweden before and I heard from the Swedish contingent that Gotland was a unique place even amongst them. It certainly was from my point of view. The landscape and the buildings were incredible. I will certainly return here for a longer trip and spend more time exploring the places I got a glimpse of. It was a great experience meeting the families and their friends. And the food was amazing throughout. Thank you Monica..
Glen House near Innerleithen in the Scottish Borders was the sumptuous backdrop to Parisa and Edwards wedding blessing last week. I cannot begin to describe how beautiful our surroundings were. These few edited images include a nervous looking groom, something I always love to capture as it really sets the stage for the rest of the days events. We had less luck with the weather and a fine persistent drizzle set in for the afternoon and evening. Still, great fun was had throughout the raucous evening's dinner and speeches. This was a truly memorable occasion for Parisa and Edward and all of the members of their families who made the journey to this beautiful part of the world. Magic!

Jessica Lowndes at Soho Sanctum Hotel
Well, after a busy couple of weeks I finally get the chance to upload some recent images. And what a way to start...Here are a few images from a recent shoot with 90210 star Jessica Lowndes. We had a busy day at the Soho Sanctum Hotel in London. Jessica was great fun to shoot with had lots of ideas and was happy to go with the flow. Space was very tight there were three other models, three make up artists and a host of clients and Pr's in the mix. I also got to work with the lovely and very talented make up artist Francesca Neill from www.francescaneill.com
We had to shoot available light for these shots as there was no space for any lighting. With my shoes off I sat in a double ended bath at the foot of the bed in the hotel suite to get these pictures. Using the light coming in from the window behind me and relying on the occasional cloud to come by to take away the harshness was the way forward. Hotel towels for reflectors made it a very jumpers for goal posts moment. A master class in make the best of what you have to hand. Besides which my bag of expensive lighting equipment couldn't fit in our over crowded room!

Miss Lauren Laverne
I got to photograph the lovely Miss Lauren Laverne yesterday (that may be Mrs Laverne actually) as part of Cliniques launch of their Black Honey range. The setting was the roof of their offices in Central London that they had cleverly made into a rooftop garden complete with bees, a bee keeper and honey tasting. The London honey made by bees in Harrow was my favourite and Miss Laverne kept the party going with some good old tunes that keeping the clouds at bay and all the bees busy..

More Ria & Adam
Here are some images from Ria and Adams wedding from last weekend. The weather was patchy so we had to grab our moments outside when we could. As we went into the afternoon the sun broke through the clouds and the rain was kept at bay. Maunsel House is an amazing 13thCentury manor house near Taunton in Devon. Owned by an eccentric ex-army gentleman the property is bustling with suits of armour, weapons and er...hunting trophies which made it a particularly surreal experience for us all. There is a brown bear adorned with fez and pipe and an alligator wearing a German helmet. The house itself was a treasure trove and the day could easily have become a non stop shoot! One day...
