As we went into the afternoon the sun broke through the clouds and the rain was kept at bay. Maunsel House is an amazing 13thCentury manor house near Taunton in Devon. Owned by an eccentric ex-army gentleman the property is bustling with suits of armour,weapons and er...hunting trophies which made it a particularly surreal experience for us all. There is a brown bear adorned with fez and pipe and an alligator wearing a German helmet. The house itself was a treasure trove and the day could easily have become a non stop shoot! One day...
